球颗粒间幂律流体挤压流动法向黏性力的高效数值算法

摘要:
为在填隙幂律流体的湿颗粒系统离散元模拟中迅速精确地求出法向黏性力,根据笔者导出的刚性球颗粒间幂律流体挤压流动的积分形式,利用因子分解和级数开发展了一套拟合算法以取代数值积分。拟合结果与数值积分结果比较表明,该方法计算量小且精度很高。

A High Efficiency Algorithm of Squeeze Force in Squeeze Flow With Power-law Fluid Between Spheres
Abstract:
In order to evaluate the normal viscous force between two rigid spheres in squeeze flow of a power law fluid efficiently so as to implement into simulation using the Distinct Element Method, a fitting scheme with a factorization technique and series expansion was developed instead of numerical integration based on the integration form of formulation for the force in our accompanied paper. Comparing with the accurate results by a numerical integration, the approximate results by the proposed scheme, an excellent agreement was shown but the proposed scheme can greatly reduce the CPU time.
