机动车驾驶员驾驶疲劳测评方法的研究状况及发展趋势

摘要:
据文献介绍,全世界每年因交通事故而导致的死亡人数达60万,直接经济损失约125亿美元,这些事故多与驾驶员疲劳驾驶有关。介绍了国内外对于机动车驾驶员驾驶疲劳程度的测评方法,对具代表性的几种方法进行了评述,认为美国公路安全管理局推荐的实时测量驾驶疲劳程度优先选择的PERCLOS法是目前较为有效的测评方法,提出我国有关驾驶疲劳程度测评方法的研究应着重于驾驶疲劳的机理和数学模型、检测和评价标准等方面,并应开展实时、非接触式预警装置的研制,实现其商品化。

Study Situation and Developing Trend on Detecting and Evaluating Techniques of Motor Driver Fatigue
Abstract:
The study situation on detecting and evaluating techniques of motor driver fatigue in the world(mainly in the U.S.A) is reviewed. There are two kinds of research method for subjective investigating and objective evaluating method of motor driver fatigue. PERCLOS is the percentage of eyelid closure over the pupil over time and reflects slow eyelid closures ("droops") rather than blinks. FWHA and NHTSA consider PERCLOS to be among the most promising known real time measures of alertness for in vehicle drowsiness detection systems. Driving in fatigue state is a serious problem that leads to thousands of vehicle being crashed each year. The drowsiness and fatigue may play an important role in traffic crashes. Based on the analysis of existing detecting and evaluating techniques of motor driver fatigue, several key researching and developing tasks on the detecting and evaluating techniques of motor drivers fatigue in the near future are pointed out as follows: (a) To study the mechanism and model of motor drivers fatigue. (b) To research the detecting technique and corresponding evaluating criterion of motor drivers fatigue. (c) To develop the real time detecting and warning device of motor driver fatigue that not give any uncomfortable and inconvenient perception to motor driver. (d) To improve the reliability of the detecting and warning device of motor driver fatigue. (e) To commercialize the real time detecting and warning device of motor driver fatigue. The final outcome is to apply the advanced commercialized real time detecting and warning device of motor driver fatigue to the vehicles to improve the safety of drive vehicle road system.
