| The Beijing Black Pig is a dual-purpose-breed,the breeding work has been carried on for more than twenty years.It is originated from northern native pig crossed with Yorkshine and Berkshine.Therefore there is no obvious difference between its Karyotype and that of the other breeds.From the peripheral bood culture,we obtained the chromosomes of mataphase of this breed.There are 38 pairs of chrom- osomes in a modal cell.Their morphological differences have made it possible to place the chromosomes in 4 groups... |
